Navigators Art A5 Leaflet
York has rejuvenated me. I have now been here almost a year and it still offers fascination and stimulus.
My work is taking on a new face with a little sparkle of humour in its eye! I have work on show in 3 venues and have become involved with Navigators Art which is a dynamic group of artists trying to change things. I also deigned A5 flyers & A2 posters for the Navigators, in the Streetlife exhibition, Coney Street, York.
I still work in an art gallery (York Art Gallery) and have now done 6 talks on Rose Wylie's Early Memory Series No.2 Doodle Bug for visitors. But the best thing about York is it's proximity to other brilliant places. This has enabled me to discover Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool (again!), Knaresborough, Harrogate and even London as it is only 2 hours away by train! Anyway, here is a flavour of what has inspired or filled me with awe and wonder! It all goes in the art food-blender…
